A 9-piece order cost me $4.99 (which is the same price as their regular Chicken Fries).
The Spicy Chicken Fries come covered with a lightly-crispy but relatively thick and craggy shell with noticeable flecks of breading to it.
For the most part, these tasted like Burger King's discontinued Spicy Chicken Nuggets. There's a lightly seasoned flavor to them along with a moderately spicy heat that hit almost immediately but lingered a bit. Like the Spicy Chicken Nuggets, there was a slight, reddish hue to them.
Inside, the chicken was finely ground, squishy, and fairly juicy.
Overall, Burger King's Spicy Chicken Fries were nice enough but, since they felt like the much cheaper Spicy Chicken Nuggets, I couldn't shake the feeling that I was overpaying for them. Basically, I got the same experience but with more breading, less chicken, and a different shape. The box was entertaining though.
