Taco Bell Tests New $2 Double Stacked Tacos in Birmingham, AL

Taco Bell tests new $2 Double Stacked Tacos for a limited time at participating locations in the Birmingham, AL area.

Taco Bell's $2 Double Stacked Tacos come in three varieties:

- Nacho Crunch Double Stacked Taco - Seasoned beef, fiesta strips, shredded lettuce, and shredded cheddar cheese in a crunchy taco shell wrapped in a soft tortilla with a layer of nacho cheese sauce between the taco shell and the tortilla.

- Cheesy Chipotle Double Stacked Taco - Seasoned beef, creamy chipotle sauce, shredded lettuce, and shredded cheddar cheese in a crunchy taco shell wrapped in a soft tortilla with a layer of nacho cheese sauce between the taco shell and the tortilla.

- Sweet Scorpion Double Stacked Taco - Seasoned beef, shredded lettuce, shredded cheddar cheese, and new Sweet Scorpion sauce in a crunchy taco shell wrapped in a soft tortilla with a layer of nacho cheese sauce on the inside. The new Sweet Scorpion sauce was inspired by sweet chili sauce.

The Double Stacked Tacos are similar to the discontinued Double Decker Taco but with nacho cheese holding the taco shell and tortilla together rather than beans.

Taco Bell previously launched $1 Double Stacked Tacos for a limited time back in 2016.
