It costs $20.99 near me for the Cookie Blast Dozen (which does not include the Oreo and Chips Ahoy! Cookie Blast Donut), while the Oreo and Chips Ahoy! Cookie Blast Donut costs $3.59 each (varies with location). However, I received these donuts courtesy of Krispy Kreme.
The Oreo and Chips Ahoy! Cookie Blast Donut is the most noteworthy of the bunch as it is a shell donut filled with two Chewy Chips Ahoy! cookies and Oreo Cookies & Kreme filling, dipped in cookie dough icing and a blend of Oreo and Chips Ahoy! cookie pieces, and then topped with an Oreo Cookies and Kreme dollop, a mini Oreo cookie and a mini Chips Ahoy! cookie. I saw footage of these being made and the Chewy Chips Ahoy! cookies are folded inside the dough, proofed, and then fried.
I don't know if they fried it longer or if the donut had just been sitting out for a while but my particular donut had a bit of a hardened crust. It was still soft, airy, and fluffy inside. The Chewy Chips Ahoy! cookies in the middle added a soft cookie texture to go with slight caramel notes and occasional milk chocolate flavor, while the Kreme filling added a light cookies-and-cream taste (i.e. mild notes of vanilla and chocolate). The flavor combination was repeated on top in various degrees due to an even layer of cookie crumbs, a bit of Cookies & Kreme, and the mini cookies. The cookie and crumbs were slightly softened rather than crunchy and the cookie dough icing didn't come across well in terms of flavor.
The Chips Ahoy! Candy Blasts Donut features an Original Glazed donut dipped in cookie dough icing and topped with Chips Ahoy! cookie pieces, milk chocolate candy gems, and semi-sweet chocolate chips. It offered the crunch (from the "candy gems") that was missing in the other donuts. There were nice bursts of milk chocolate here but also a heavy dose of sweetness due to the slightly smaller size as well as the fact that it was both glazed and iced.
The Chips Ahoy! Cookie Dough Kreme Donut consists of a shell donut filled with Chips Ahoy! Cookies & Kreme filling, dipped in chocolate icing, and topped with a drizzle of cookie dough icing and Chips Ahoy! mini cookies. This one stood out to me for the Chips Ahoy! Cookies & Kreme filling, which managed a creamy Chips Ahoy!-like flavor that was further buoyed by the three mini Chips Ahoy! cookies on top.
The Oreo Cookies & Kreme Filled Donut offers a shell donut filled with Oreo Cookies & Kreme filling, dipped in chocolate icing, and topped with Oreo cookie pieces and an icing drizzle. I reviewed this one before and it's the most conventional of the donuts with various components that gave it an overall Oreo-adjacent flavor.
Taken altogether, I quite enjoyed Krispy Kreme's Oreo and Chips Ahoy! Cookie Blast Donuts. I particularly like Oreo and Chips Ahoy! Cookie Blast Donut and the Chips Ahoy! Cookie Dough Kreme Donut for their more novel elements (since Oreo flavors are more common and popular than Chips Ahoy!).
