A 1.44-qt tub normally costs $4 to $5 but I received this courtesy of Turkey Hill.
Turkey Hill's Graham Slam is basically a graham-heavy take on s'mores and, as such, there were caramelly molasses notes through out.
The frozen dairy dessert portion had just a slight bit of gumminess from emulsifiers but had an otherwise airy texture. There was an enjoyable and mild graham cracker flavor to it but a somewhat uneven melt.
The graham cracker flavor intensified when the graham cracker swirl came in. The swirl also added the feel of crushed graham crackers.
The marshmallow-filled choco (i.e. made with cocoa powder but without chocolate liquor or cocoa butter) cups offered a satisfying hollow crunch. Rather than just a center of marshmallow, each cup had a few pockets of marshmallow, which lent a bit more texture to the bite. The marshmallow itself was liquid, which provided additional contrast. The chocolate flavor was nice and not overly sweet.
As a fan of graham crackers in general, Turkey Hill's Graham Slam turned out pretty well. There was a pleasant graham cracker flavor throughout with occasional pops of both flavor and texture from the swirl and choco cups to keep it interesting.
