A 12-oz bowl was $2.99 on sale.
The Bolognese sauce offered a robust thickness that didn't leave behind liquid pools in the bowl and held on well to the rigatoni. The rigatoni struck a fair balance between firm and soft.
As far as taste goes, the Bolognese sauce was good for a lightly seasoned, slightly sweet tomato flavor with just a touch of heat. It was flecked with bits of parmesan for that extra bite of salt and richness.
There was a decent amount of beef crumbles and they had a nice bit of moisture and springiness to them to go with a salty, seasoned flavor.
Overall, Marie Callendar's Rigatoni Bolognese Bowl made for an enjoyable and filling bowl of pasta and meat sauce.
