The crispy-fried tater tots come lightly seasoned with salt and can be found in 28-oz bags with prices starting at $4.98. They take about 20 to 25 minutes to heat in the oven and around 10 minutes in the air fryer.
Besides making for a convenient alternative for when you don't want to make a trip to a Sonic restaurant, the frozen Sonic Tots are also meant to be an option for folks who don't live near a Sonic location and/or have never been to one. The tater tots will also be rolled out at additional retailers in the future.
Sonic Tots are produced by Lamb Weston, one of the world's largest producers of frozen French fries and other frozen potato products. The two brands also plan to collaborate to bring frozen Sonic Fries to select retailers later this year.
