A 20-oz bag cost me $7.99 on sale.
I heated these up in the air fryer and they came out with a lightly-crispy, thin crust to them. The breading texture reminded me of Chick-fil-A's chicken nuggets. There was quite a bit of variance in terms of the sizes of the chicken breast chunks. Some pieces were big and meaty while other pieces were maybe a third of the same size.
Due to the size differences, the bigger pieces were juicy and meaty, while smaller pieces were a bit dry. The chicken was tender, while still retaining that stringy texture.
Taste-wise, Realgood's chicken nuggets were lightly seasoned with a combination of salt, pepper, paprika, garlic powder, and onion powder. For chicken nuggets, they were definitely on the low-sodium side in terms of flavor. While there's just enough flavor to eat them as is, most will probably enjoy them more with some sauce.
When it comes down to it, Realgood Food Co.'s Lightly Breaded Chicken Nuggets turned out really well as premium-end chicken nuggets (i.e. cut chicken pieces and not formed ground chicken) and don't suffer in taste or texture for being gluten-free and keto-friendly (with extra protein from whey protein and 3 net carbs per serving). I would however recommend, separating the big and small pieces into different batches when cooking for the best results.
