The wraps cost $2.99 for one or three for $7.49 if purchased online through the BK mobile app or website.
The Burger King Spicy BK Royal Crispy Wrap takes the Classic BK Royal Crispy Wrap and tosses the chicken in a spicy glaze. You can also think of it as a smaller, wrap version of the chain's Spicy BK Royal Crispy Chicken Sandwich.
The chicken breast filet half sported a relatively thin, relatively smooth shell of batter that was good for an enjoyable crunch. The chicken inside was a bit dry and was not tender however. It was also a bit short for the wrap on this occasion (my previous forays yielded longer halves).
The spicy glaze appeared to be the same as the much-missed Spicy Ch'King. It was more of an oil-based sauce and was moderately spicy, slightly sweet, fairly tangy, and quite tasty. The Royal sauce, which seemed to be a mayo with some extra savory notes, served as a foil for the spicy sauce.
The lettuce didn't manage muster enough crispness in the not-so-warm wrap but the lone, rather small tomato slice was pretty good.
The flour tortilla offered the same as you'd get in a bag from the supermarket and was soft, pliable, and mostly tasteless, which is to say it did the job but added no bells or whistles.
Overall, Burger King Spicy BK Royal Crispy Wrap turned out decently well. The ingredient quality was a bit lacking but the crunch of the chicken and the flavor of the spicy glaze were good.
