Chipotle's Carne Asada features steak marinated steak that's seasoned on the grill with a blend of spices, including cumin, coriander, and oregano. Once off the grill, the steak is finished with fresh-squeezed lime and chopped cilantro.
New this time around is the option to get the Carne Asada Quesadilla when ordering online through the Chipotle website, mobile app or third-party delivery services. The Carne Asada Quesadilla features a grill-pressed flour tortilla filled with Monterey Jack cheese, Carne Asada, and fajita veggies. It comes with three sides of your choice.
As a promotion for the returning protein, Chipotle is offering a $0 delivery free deal on al Carne Asada orders placed through the Chipotle app or website through Sunday, October 1, 2023.
Carne Asada was first introduced in 2019 as the chain's second limited-time protein option (the first was chorizo although it was originally a permanent option) and was brought back for a second run in 2020.
