The new pecan pie-inspired flavor features buttery ice cream with pecans, pie crust pieces, and caramel ribbons.
This isn't the first time that Ben & Jerry's has offered a pecan pie-inspired ice cream. From 1998 to 2001, they had Southern Pecan Pie ice cream, which offered brown sugar ice cream with roasted pecans, pecan pie chunks, and a pecan-caramel swirl. Additionally, there's Bourbon Pecan Pie, which is a flavor exclusive to the state of Texas. It consists of buttery bourbon ice cream with pecans, shortbread cookie pieces, and a whiskey caramel swirl. All three ice cream flavors basically represent slight variations on the same theme.
While they're available, each pint of Ben & Jerry's Pecan Pie ice cream carries a suggested price of $5.99 to $6.49.
