Blimpie Debuts New Italian Subs

Sub shop chain Blimpie debuts two new Italian Subs as a limited-edition to the menu nationwide.

According to Blimpie, the new subs are meant to offer the "classic flavors of Italy" and are available in two varieties:

- Italiano Blimp (pictured) - Ham, capicola, proscuittini, salami, pepperoni, provolone, tomato, lettuce, onion, black olives, mayo, vinegar, oil, and oregano on your choice of bread.

- Caprese Blimp - Ham, capicola, proscuittini, salami, pepperoni, fresh mozzarella, tomato, lettuce, onion, roasted red pepper, banana pepper, basil pesto spread, and oregano  on your choice of bread.

Price vary but my local Blimpies charges $7.59 for a regular Italiano Blimp sub sandwich and $12.79 for a large Italiano Blimp. Prices for the Caprese Blimp are slightly higher at $7.69 for a regular and $12.99 for a large.
