I bought a 1.25-lb bag for $5.99 on sale.
The Air-Fried Chicken Breast Strips can be prepared in the oven or air fryer according to the instructions. I went with the air fryer for convenience.
For the most part, the strips were fairly narrow and long although there was some variance (one strip was pretty large, while a few were more like nuggets).
The breading was fairly thick with a puffball-like texture. It was crunchy but also slightly hard and somewhat chewy at times. It was also a bit dry, which is probably due to the reduced oil required for air-frying and the general thickness of the coating.
The chicken was cut from whole muscle. It was moist but not juicy.
Flavor-wise, Tyson Air-Fried Chicken Breast Strips were lightly seasoned and mostly just salty. They were a bit too salty actually but I still ate them with ranch for the needed injection of flavor.
Overall, Tyson Air-Fried Chicken Breast Strips were just okay for me. It was nice that they were crunchy but the breading was too thick and salty. I also would have liked more chicken in most pieces.
