Starbucks Launches New Pitch-Black, Halloween Frappuccino in Japan

Starbucks launches a new, pitch-black, Halloween-themed Frappuccino over in Japan called, the "Boo Frappuccino."

Available now for a limited time, the Starbucks Japan Boo Frappuccino gets its color from a "Sweet and slightly aromatic black caramel sauce." As a hidden surprise, the black, caramel-flavored Frappuccino hides a layer of pumpkin pudding at the bottom of the cup.

But that's not all, Starbucks Japan also has a pitch-black dessert for Halloween, the Halloween Chocolate Cake. It features a black chocolate cupcake topped with purple blueberry cream that covered with a black chocolate layer.

The Boo Frappuccino costs 690 yen (~$4.61 US) for a Tall, while the Halloween Chocolate Cake costs 330 yen (~$2.21 US).
