HelloFresh Brings Back Buddy the Elf Spaghetti Meal Kit

Meal kit company HelloFresh teams up with Warner Bros. Discovery Global Consumer Products to bring back Buddy the Elf Spaghetti Meal Kits starting December 4th for the 2023 holiday season. This year, they've added some new collectible items to the kit as the film Elf (in which Buddy is the main character and his dessert spaghetti meal features quite prominently) celebrates its 20th anniversary.

HelloFresh's Buddy the Elf Spaghetti Meal Kits features Colavita spaghetti and a good number of sweet toppings to adorn it with, including maple syrup, chocolate syrup, marshmallows, chocolate nonpareil candies, and chocolate frosted pastries.

New this year to the kit are a number of collectible items, including:

• Two festive aprons outfitted like Buddy the Elf’s signature green suit
• Two portioned melamine plates with designations for the four main elf food groups (which are candy, candy canes, candy corns, and syrup, in case you're wondering)
• One resealable plastic storage bag

A limited amount of Buddy the Elf Spaghetti meal kits will go on sale starting on Monday, December 4, 2023 at 12:25 PM EST, exclusively through the HelloFresh website for $29.99 per kit. Each kit makes two servings and includes the previously mentioned collectible items. A HelloFresh subscription is not required to buy the kit. The kits are priced at $29.99 for two servings and all five collectible items. They'll have a limited number of kits for purchase each day through Friday, December 8, 2023.

In addition to the meal kits, HelloFresh will be adding three Elf-themed recipes for their subscription customers that will be available December 2 through December 15, 2023. The recipes are inspired by scene from the movie and include:

- Gimbels' Santa Cheeseburger with Snowball Potatoes - A cheeseburgert opped with garlic mayo and balsamic caramelized onion, served with cheesy mashed potatoes coated in toasted panko breadcrumbs and stacked like snowmen.

- World's Best Cup of Coffee (Cake) Brunch - Pecan streusel-topped maple brown sugar coffee mug cake with candied bacon, apple and orange slices, and a "sugar plum" jam dipping sauce.

- Buddy the Elf's Snowball Cake Truffles - Spiced cake truffle snowballs covered with cream cheese frosting, coconut, and powdered sugar.
