The Orange Chocolate Frappe sees cocoa powder blended with milk and ice, topped with a slightly pulpy orange sauce, whipped cream, and a combination of white and milk chocolate shavings. It's priced at 490 yen (~$3.28 US).
Also available in Japan for the holidays are:
- White Chocolate Snow Frappe - A frappe made with white chocolate, ice, and milk topped with caramel sauce, whipped cream, and shaved white chocolate (which is meant to resemble snow). It costs 490 yen (~$3.28 US).
- Chocolate Berry Latte - Espresso, steamed milk, and raspberry sauce, topped with whipped cream and a drizzle of chocolate sauce. It's priced at 420 yen (~$2.81 US) and only available at special "McCafe by Barista" locations.
- Green Apple Macaron - A macaron with a green apple-flavored cream, touched with a bit of cinnamon. It's priced at 190 yen (~$1.27 US)
Macarons are a regular McCafe menu item in Japan and are available year-round in several flavors, including Chocolate, Vanilla, and Raspberry.
