Jack in the Box Introduces New Smashed Jack

Jack in the Box gives their take on a smash burger with the introduction of the new, limited-time Smashed Jack, which is available now at participating locations chain-wide.

Jack in the Box's Smashed Jack burger features a 1/4-lb smashed beef patty, American cheese, pickles, grilled onions, and new Boss Sauce (which looks to be a secret sauce/thousand island variant), on a toasted soft brioche bun.

Prices for the Smashed Jack may vary but it costs $6.99 near me in the Los Angeles area. It's also available as part of a combo with fries and a drink starting at $9.79.

You can also get the new burger with bacon and a second smashed patty as the "Bacon Double Smashed Jack." It's priced at $9.99 near me, while a combo starts at $12.99.

A smash burger is so-named because you flatten the beef patty onto the grill to get a better sear (because the smash exposes more surface area to the grill). At its most extreme, it can smashed very thin for a crispy, or even crunchy, crust.

The Smashed Jack is available now for a limited time through February 18, 2024.
