Pringles Reveals Top Two Flavors Worldwide

Pringles recently revealed that the brand's top-selling flavors worldwide are Original and Sour Cream & Onion out of over 160 global flavors. They also let be known some of the popular times of the year for peak Pringles-eating.

Here in the US and nearby Canada, Pringles sales go up around the Super Bowl as well as in the summer. In Southeast Asia, Chinese New Year is a popular time for Pringles consumption. Finally, in the UK, Pringles sales rise in December.

Pringles were first introduced in 1968 as a less greasy take on potato chips that didn't break as much in its packaging. Original was the only flavor available until the 1980s, while Sour Cream & Onion was first launched in 1984 (so basically the most popular flavors are also among the oldest flavors).
