Taco Bell's Double Decker Taco features a flour tortilla spread with refried beans and then wrapped around a crunchy taco shell. The taco is then filled with seasoned ground beef, lettuce, and shredded cheddar cheese the same as the chain's regular Crunchy Taco.
The Double Decker Taco carries a suggested price of $2.99. You can also opt for the Double Decker Taco Supreme, which like Taco Bell's regular Taco Supreme adds on diced tomatoes and reduced-fat sour cream. The Supreme version costs $3.69.
The Double Decker Taco can be ordered in-store through an ordering kiosk as well as through the Taco Bell website and mobile app.
To celebrate the limited-time return, Taco Bell has partnered with certain third-party delivery services to offer the following deals:
- From Tuesday December 5 to December 10, 2023 - Uber One members can take advantage of a Double Decker Taco BOGO deal.
- From Tuesday December 5 to December 12, 2023 - DoorDash customers can get $5 off orders of $25+, while DashPass users can get $8 off orders of $25+.
Taco Bell's Double Decker Taco was first introduced in 1995 as a limited-time item and eventually became part of the permanent menu in 2006. It had a nice run but was discontinued along with a number of items in 2019.
