As you may have guessed from the name, McDonald's Double Big Mac is a Big Mac with double the beef patties. As such, it includes four beef patties served with Big Mac sauce, pickles, shredded lettuce, chopped onions (dehydrated), and an American cheese slice on a toasted, club-style, sesame seed bun.
As with the regular Big Mac, the returning burger incorporates McDonald's recent improvements to their core burgers, which, for the Big Mac, includes a softer more pillowy bun, cheese that's more consistently melted, more Big Mac Sauce, and onions cooked with the beef patties.
You can check out my previous review of the Double Big Mac from back in 2020 here. It cost me $5.99 back then (which was $1 more than a Big Mac at the time). Given that a Big Mac is currently $5.99 in my area, it's a safe bet that the Double Big Mac will cost $6.99 or more.
