KFC Serves Up Molten Cheese Pie in Japan

KFC launches the new Cheese Pie over in Japan. It features a turnover-style, flaky, crispy crust with a melty cheese sauce filling made with cheddar cheese, cream cheese, and Camembert cheese.

Available for a limited time, it costs 290 yen (~$2.01 US).

The new pie is being offered alongside the return of the Cheese Drenched Chicken Sandwich, which sees a crispy-fried chicken filet served with a cheese sauce made with five types of cheese (cheddar, cream cheese, Gouda, Emmental cheese, and Parmesan) as well as a black pepper cheese sauce, on a toasted bun.

The returning (and very cheesy) chicken sandwich is joined by a raclette version, which is much the same but with a raclette cheese sauce instead of the five-cheese sauce. Both Cheese Drenched Chicken Sandwiches are available for a limited time in Japan and cost 490 yen (~$3.39 US).
