Mod Pizza's Cheese Pizza is a simple 11-inch pizza topped with red sauce and mozzarella cheese.
I got this when they had their Cheese Pizza on sale for $7 but it's normally $11.39 (they charge the same price regardless of how many toppings you get unless it's a promotional pizza).
The crust was the most notable feature of the pizza. It's a thin crust that was very crunchy but with a definite chew lying underneath. Usually when a crust is this crunchy, it's typically crunchy all the way through. It was interesting but also seemed like it would be polarizing.
The red sauce was tomato-y and tangy with a very light sweetness.
The cheese was spread in a pretty thick, even layer. It was nicely melted with a creamy, savory flavor.
Overall, Mod Pizza's Cheese Pizza made for a fairly enjoyable cheese pizza. The cheese and sauce were very nice. The crust made for an interesting combination that wasn't bad but I'm not sure it's something I would crave.
