Panda Express' Firecracker Shrimp features large shrimp, chopped red and yellow bell peppers, onions, string beans, and dried chilis, wok-tossed in a savory black bean sauce. As a "premium" item (which basically refers to the chain's steak and shrimp entrees), it costs extra.
Firecracker Shrimp was first introduced in 2020 as a better-for-you entree. The chain has it designated as a "Wok Smart" dish, which means it contains at least 8 grams of protein and 300 calories or less per serving. Specifically, it contains 17 grams of protein and 180 calories per serving.
You can find the seasonal seafood dish now at Panda Express locations nationwide for a limited time through June 4, 2024, while supplies last.
