The biscuit sandwich is part of Wendy's current Breakfast Biggie Deals, where you can get two items from a limited selection for $3. It otherwise costs $1.99 at my local Wendy's here in Southern California.
The egg was decently soft with a few crispy edges here and there.
The lone American cheese slices was left holding the bag a bit here in the flavor department. It was nicely melted with the expected creamy, mildly cheesy flavor. It could have used a bit of help.
The biscuit turned out pretty nicely, it was moist and fluffy with a some light crispness on the crust. Flavor-wise, I got some enjoyable butter notes.
Overall, Wendy's Egg & Cheese Biscuit was put together well and offered a good set of textures but could have used a push in the flavor department (although I think that's probably true of most fast food egg and cheese breakfast sandwiches). I definitely recommending a sauce of your choice and/or maybe some black pepper to liven it up a bit. On a side note, these freeze and reheat pretty well.
