Hostess Rolls Out New Meltamors

Hostess adds a new line of snack cakes to its baked goods portfolio with the launch of new Meltamors inspired by lava cakes and similar warm desserts.

Hostess Meltamors feature a fluffy, chocolaty, mini cake with a melting center, topped with a chocolate-flavored drizzle.

At launch, Meltamors come in two flavors: Double Chocolate and Chocolate Creamy Caramel.

Double Chocolate comes with a chocolaty melting center, while Chocolate Creamy Caramel includes a caramel-flavored melting center. The key feature is that the melting center is meant to flow like "lava" when warmed in the microwave for about five seconds. They can also be eaten as is.

Hostess Meltamors are currently rolling out to grocery retailers and convenience stores nationwide. You can find them in 9.31-oz boxes containing eight individually wrapped cakes as well as in 2.33-oz single-serve packs.
