Because the glaze is oil-based, the chicken nuggets maintained a nice texture out of the pouch. They were greasy but didn't feel wet like a good deal of Buffalo sauces do.
Inside the chicken nugget was finely ground and juicy. The crust was crispy and slightly craggy.
In terms of flavor, the new spicy Buffalo glaze offered a bit of richness accompanied by a vinegary tang and a strong dose of cayenne heat. It was quite spicy and built steadily as I went along but never got too overbearing.
Overall, Burger King's Fiery Buffalo Nuggets made for some enjoyable eating. The nuggets were crispy and juicy, while the glaze struck a nice balance between tanginess and heat. I particularly liked that they weren't oversauced.
