Review: Pepperidge Farm - London Fog Milano Cookies

Pepperidge Farm's London Fog Milano Cookie features two crispy biscuits sandwiching a filling with the flavor of Earl Grey tea and a hint of vanilla alongside a layer of milk chocolate.

A 5.6-oz package carries a suggested price of $5.09 but I received this courtesy of Pepperidge Farm.

Opening the bag released the noticeable aroma of Earl Grey tea.

The biscuit offered a light crunch and slightly airy structure. It's among the lighter cookies in Pepperidge Farm's European-inspired "Distinctive" cookie line.

The filling was good for a creamy and floral Earl Grey flavor along with a light note of vanilla and a hint of chocolate. The milk chocolate definitely took a back seat here. The filling was smooth but solid.

Taken altogether, Pepperidge Farm London Fog Milano Cookies were quite enjoyable. As with the rest of the Milano line, there's a nice pairing of crispy and smooth between the cookies and the filling. Fans of Earl Grey tea will likely be pleased by the strong and creamy flavor here, which gets some added complexity from the vanilla and chocolate notes.
