Carl's Jr.'s El Diablo burger was first introduced in 2015 (here's my review of it from back then) and features one or two charbroiled beef patties (or an Angus beef patty), two bacon strips, crispy-fried Jalapeño Poppers Bites, pepper jack cheese, pickled jalapeño slices, and fiery habanero ranch sauce, on a toasted sesame seed (or potato) bun.
The new El Diablo Hand-Breaded Chicken Tender Wrap consists of a crispy-fried buttermilk white-meat chicken, lettuce, shredded cheese, and fiery habanero sauce, wrapped up in a soft flour tortilla.
El Diablo Loaded Fries sees natural-cut fries topped with fiery habanero sauce, shredded cheese, and pickled jalapeño slices.
Along with the El Diablo menu rollout, Carl's Jr. has updated its menu to emphasize more burger customization. You can now opt to get the chain's signature burgers, such as the Famous Star, Big Carl, and Western Bacon Cheeseburgers, with your choice of either a single or double patty or an Angus patty.
