An 11.5-oz bowl was $2.99 on sale.
The pasta appeared to be penne or something similar. It was tender but not mushy and held the sauce well.
The sauce offered a rich garlicky flavor with just a bit of herbiness. It wasn't too runny so I wasn't left with a pool of it at the end.
The chicken was decently plentiful and flavorful but a little chewy, while the Roma tomatoes were mild with a mushy texture.
It's not mentioned in the description on the box, but there's also spinach in the bowl. It added a wilted texture and a note of green.
When it comes down to it, Marie Callender's Roasted Garlic Chicken Bowl kept it simple but good. I appreciated the strong garlicky flavor and the amount of chicken given.
