Spicy Chicken McNuggets Return to McDonald's

Spicy Chicken McNuggets make their way back to McDonald's and can be found on the menu at participating locations in select local markets for a limited time (including here in Los Angeles).

McDonald's Spicy Chicken McNuggets feature white meat chicken nuggets covered in a crispy coating that's been seasoned for a spicy kick with cayenne and chili peppers.

As with regular Chicken McNuggets, you can get them in 6-piece, 10-piece, 20-piece, and 40-piece orders.

Spicy Chicken McNuggets were first introduced in 2020 as a limited-time fast food item and have been brought back several times since. You can find my review of them here.

While McDonald's fast-food rivals Wendy's and Burger King have both offered spicy chicken nuggets (with Burger King offering several different flavors of spicy chicken nuggets, including Fiery Nuggets and Ghost Pepper Chicken Nuggets), Spicy Chicken McNuggets are McDonald's first and, so far, only flavored variant of Chicken McNuggets in the US. They have, however, offered several versions of spicy Chicken McNuggets internationally, including a very interesting-sounding Peppercorn Garlic Spicy Chicken McNuggets in Japan in 2022.
