New Velveeta Queso Lands in Stores

Since quite a few people use blocks of melty Velveeta to make queso every year (roughly 125 million pounds of Velveeta loaves were sold in 2023), Kraft Heinz debuts new Velveeta Queso as a convenient, ready-to-eat jarred option versus making it yourself.

Available starting this month at retailers nationwide, Velveeta Queso arrives in three flavors: Queso Blanco, Queso Con Salsa, and Jalapeno. The foray marks Velveeta's first entry into the ready-to-eat queso arena.

In addition to the new Queso, Velveeta adds two new flavors--Pizza and Buffalo--to the Shells and Cheese line along with new Gluten-Free Shells & Cheese. As with the new Queso line, the new Shells and Cheese varieties arrive starting this month.
