According to Panda Express, the new dish takes Orange Chicken (crispy-fried boneless chicken pieces wok-tossed in a sweet and spicy orange sauce) and throws in six scoops of crushed chilis and a ladle full of dried chilis per wok-full. The dried chili peppers are the same that are used for the chain's Kung Pao Chicken.
On the Panda Express website, Hot Orange Chicken has a rating of two chili peppers to denote "Extra Spicy - Our hottest spice level!" Regular Orange Chicken is listed as one chili pepper for "Spicy."
You can find the new entree now at Panda Express restaurants nationwide for a limited time through Sunday, June 23, 2024, while supplies last.
