I got one for $3.99 on sale (it's normally $7.79).
The Carnivore Loaded Ultra Thin Crust Pizza reminded me more than a little of Pizza Hut's The Edge Pizza, which also had a thin crust and edge-to-edge toppings.
The crust itself sported the same slightly flaky, cracker-like feeling and crunch of the thin crust you find at Pizza Hut and Papa John's.
The cheese burnt and dried out a bit more in my oven though, which left little in the way of any cheese pull. The sauce was light but fairly well balanced with sweet and tangy notes.
With meat, meat, and more meat, the pizza was indeed very meaty but also quite salty. The pepperoni was very mild but the sausage had a nice hint of fennel, and the ham offered a satisfying chew.
Overall, DiGiorno's Carnivore Loaded Ultra Thin Crust Pizza turned out pretty well and, for $4 on sale, was a comparable but much cheaper alternative to similar thin-crust pizzas from a major pizza chain.
