A 32-oz bag was $3.49, which is cheaper than any other store-brand tater tots in my area.
I prepped the Potato Tots in the air fryer and they came out nice and crispy while remaining moist inside. There was just a slight grittiness to the surface but I don't know what may have caused it. The diced potatoes inside were a bit on the mushy side but retained a bit of structure.
There wasn't any seasoning to the tots other than salt. The salt was fairly light compared to other tater tots and frozen fried potatoes I can remember eating. It made them great for dipping but a little plain by themselves.
For the most part, Trader Joe's Potato Tots were pretty average but very affordable as far as frozen tater tots go.
