An 11-oz box cost me $5 on sale (it normally costs $5.99).
The chicken was tender and juicy while still retaining a meaty bite. It's notable as it was softer than the chicken in curry I get from most Indian restaurants. There was a generous amount of pieces for a frozen meal.
The curry offered a lightly sweet tomato base with a slightly creamy richness. The box was labeled "medium" for heat but I would rate it as "mild" for me (and probably "not spicy" for an Indian restaurant). While most curries I've tried have had a general curry-spiced flavor, Sukhi's Chicken Tikka Masala stood out to me as having a heavy dose of cardamom in addition to the typical curry spices.
The basmati rice was typical of frozen meals. It was relatively tasteless and not sticky, which is to say it didn't absorb the curry very well. The naan was like the sliced white bread version of naan. It had a uniform thickness and texture that was probably baked evenly at a lower temperature in an oven rather than a tandoor. It was soft and chewy but lacked the bubbled air pockets and crispy brown spots of most naan I've eaten. I heated it in the air fryer for extra crisping.
With a solid base, Sukhi's Chicken Tikka Masala made for a very enjoyable meal. The chicken was exemplary and the curry was good. The rice was average and the naan was decent but merited extra credit for being there at all.
