I got one for $5.79 (which is the same price as a regular Crunchwrap Supreme at my local Taco Bell). Unlike the Big Cheez-It Tostada, it did not come with any special packaging and arrived in the same pouch as a regular Crunchwrap Supreme.
So how does the giant Cheez-It cracker measure up to a crispy corn tostada shell? Both don't fare well in terms of crispiness the longer they sit inside the warm and moist confines of a Crunchwrap. However, the Cheez-It cracker did manage to deliver the occasional crispy bits. Besides the sporadic crunch, the Cheez-It cracker was flakier and contributed a toasty cheese note versus a fried corn flavor.
Outside of those differences, you get the same seasoned beef, nacho cheese, lettuce, sour cream, and diced tomato that you find in a regular Crunchwrap, which is to say that it tasted like a lot of menu items at Taco Bell. The beef provided most of the flavor with the produce adding some fresh notes and texture and the sauces adding just a bit of richness.
The flour tortilla bunched up less than a burrito fold so that there were fewer tortilla-heavy bites but the hexagonal fold did not avoid the problem entirely. The tortilla also developed a hint of toasty notes from the grill press.
Overall, Taco Bell's Big Cheez-It Crunchwrap Supreme offered a very familiar eating experience for any regular Taco Bell customer. However, the novelty of the toasty, giant Cheez-It cracker is worth a try given the similar price of admission.
