A 6-piece order cost me $3.69 versus $2.99 for a regular 6-piece order of chicken nuggets. So the sauce/saucing costs 70 cents extra.
The garlic parmesan sauce is an oil-based sauce with strong notes of garlic and parmesan. It's tasty but also very salty paired with the nuggets. It is reminiscent of the limited-time Wendy's Garlic Fries of 2022 and would most likely go well on a bed of fries.
The chicken nuggets were crispy with a fairly uniform craggy breading. The chicken inside was juicy, finely ground, and slightly spongy. The breading held up well due to the oil-based sauce.
When it comes down to it, I enjoyed the flavor of Wendy's garlic parmesan sauce but I'm not sure I liked it as well with chicken nuggets over fries or maybe a baked potato. I might think differently if there was more chicken to each nugget to hold up better against the sauce's flavor.
