The Saucy Chicken Sandwich is a digital-exclusive sandwich that can be ordered through the KFC app or website. It includes a double-breaded, Extra Crispy chicken breast filet, thick pickles, the Colonel's mayo, and a choice of either Honey BBQ, Honey Sriracha, or Korean BBQ sauce.
KFC describes the sauces in the following fashion:
- Honey BBQ - "A sweet, smoky and tangy sauce, with brown sugar and honey rounding out tanginess of tomato and secret spices"
- Honey Sriracha - "A sweet heat sauce using a blend of red chili peppers, garlic and honey."
- Korean BBQ - "A sweet and savory umami sauce with soy sauce, garlic, sugar, and sesame."
The new sandwich is the same price as KFC's regular Chicken Sandwich and Spicy Chicken Sandwich at $5.99 (may vary).
If the pictures are any indication, the Saucy Chicken Sandwiches don't look all that saucy. The sauce looks applied on top of the chicken filet rather than the filet being tossed in it.
KFC is offering a limited-time deal where you can get any of its Chicken Sandwiches for 50% off when ordering online through the KFC app or website at participating locations.
