Review: Chick-fil-A - Peach Milkshake

Chick-fil-A's Peach Milkshake features Chick-fil-A's Icedream soft serve blended with peach puree and topped with whipped cream and a maraschino cherry.

The shake costs $6.15 but I received this courtesy of Chick-fil-A. I think they ran out of cherries because my shake only came with whipped cream.

Chick-fil-A changed its cups from styrofoam cups to an interesting, double-walled paper cup in some locations starting May of last year. Rather than an enclosed double-wall design, the walls open at the top and bottom so that a layer of air helps keep the drink insulated and your hands dry. My shake came in the new cup and I can report that it stayed cold without any condensation dripping from it.

I took a spoon to the Peach Milkshake to see if I could fish out any peaches but was unsuccessful. They had settled to the bottom.

The shake was thin enough and smooth enough to easily drink with a straw, which also picked up little bits of peaches.

Flavor-wise, there was a robust, sweet peach flavor throughout tinged with mildly creamy, vanilla notes.

Essentially, Chick-fil-A's Peach Milkshake made for a basic but enjoyable peaches-and-cream experience that you can drink up with a straw. It's a touch of the sweet side for me but I appreciated that it actually tasted like peaches and contained peach bits.
