A 6-piece order cost me $6.99.
The chicken was cut to a good thickness for a moist and meaty bite. It was lightly seasoned with a neutral flavor that's geared towards dipping. They felt just slightly bigger than similar offerings from Chick-fil-A or KFC.
The crust on the chicken was lightweight and flaky crust with just enough thickness for an even crispy coverage. The nooks and crannies for the flakes hold onto sauce well.
At the end of the day, Popeyes Classic Boneless Wings turned out really well. They were evenly crispy with enough chicken in each piece to deliver a substantial bite. You really do want to eat them with sauce though.
