Del Taco Introduces New Roasted Pork Al Pastor

In an interesting move, Del Taco partners with Los Angeles restaurant mini-chain Trejo's Tacos to introduce new Roasted Pork Al Pastor (it should be noted that al pastor refers to marinated pork roasted on a vertical spit so the name is explanatory for those unfamiliar).

Del Taco x Trejo's Tacos' Roasted Pork Al Pastor features flame-roasted pork marinated with chipotle, onions, garlic, and pineapple juice for a savory, spicy, and sweet flavor.

The Del Taco x Trejo's Tacos' Roasted Pork Al Pastor menu includes the following items:

• Al Pastor Street Taco - Marinated roast pork, diced pineapple, diced onions, chopped cilantro, and tangy green sauce, served on a warm corn tortilla. Del Taco offers a special where you can get Al Pastor Street Tacos for $4.99 at participating locations.
• Al Pastor Loaded Fries - Crinkle Cut Fries topped with marinated roast pork, diced pineapple, grated cheddar cheese, diced onions, tangy green sauce, house-made guacamole, and chopped cilantro.
• Al Pastor Epic Burrito - Marinated roast pork, slow-cooked beans, cilantro-lime rice, house-made guacamole, and pico de gallo wrapped in a warm, oversized flour tortilla.
• Al Pastor Cheddar Quesadilla - Marinated roast pork, grated cheddar cheese, tangy green sauce, and diced pineapple folded into a flour tortilla and grilled.

In addition to the new al pastor offering, Del Taco welcomes new Double Pineapple drinks, which feature a choice of Sprite, Minute Maid Zero Sugar Lemonade, or a mini shake mixed with sweet pineapple flavoring and diced pineapple pieces.

Both Roasted Pork Al Pastor and Double Pineapple drinks are available now for a limited time at participating Del Taco locations across the US.

Trejo's Taco is a chain of five restaurants in the Los Angeles area owned by L.A. native and actor Danny Trejo.
