IHOP brings back its all-you-can-eat-pancakes special for a limited time where, for $5, you can get your fill of the chain's signature buttermilk pancakes at participating locations nationwide.

Additionally, during the promotion, you can get a free upgrade to all-you-can-eat pancakes if you order any combo when dining in.

If you consider that a short stack (three pancakes) generally costs more than $5 (it's $8.99 here in Los Angeles), you can save quite a bit of money getting the all-you-can-eat pancakes.

Rival diner chain Denny's also has an all-you-can-eat buttermilk pancakes deal as part of its All Day Diner Deals value menu (prices may vary).
