McDonald's Announces New Collector's Meal Featuring Six Collectible Cups

McDonald's announces the new Collector's Meal featuring six collectible, nostalgic cups launching August 13, 2024.

The cups pay homage to McDonald's collectibles from throughout the years and the limited-edition lineup includes the following:

• Barbie & Hot Wheels Cup - Mattel Happy Meal toys have appeared several times throughout the years and this cup is inspired by them.
• Beanie Babies Cup - An ode to the Teenie Beanie craze of the '90s
• Coca-Cola Cup - A modern twist on the various Coca-Cola cup designs over the years.
• Hello Kitty & Peanuts Cup - A combination of two popular series of Happy Meal toys from throughout the years.
• Shrek, Jurassic Park & Minions Cup - Inspired by the various film franchises that have partnered with McDonald's.
• McDonald's Cup - Featuring McDonald's-themed collectibles such as the Grimace Glass, Boo Buckets, and Funny Fry Friends.

According to McDonald's, "These new collectible cups commemorate some of our most unforgettable designs and global collaborations over the years, allowing longtime fans to relive treasured moments and helping a new generation make their own lasting memories."

There's both a breakfast and lunch/dinner version of the limited-time Collector's Meal. 

The breakfast Collector's Meal includes a collectible cup, a Sausage McMuffin with Egg, hash brown, and hot coffee during breakfast hours. During the rest of the day, the Collector's Meal includes a choice of 10-piece Chicken McNuggets or a Big Mac sandwich, fries, a soft drink, and a collectible cup.

If you happen to be in Los Angeles, on August 17, 2024, from 11AM to 7PM, McDonald's will be celebrating the new Collector's Meal with a pop-up event called the "Collector's Club Poolside Paradise." The event will be located at Santa Monica Pier and feature a beachside pool party with limited-edition drinks inspired by the Collector's Meal cups and a special DJ set. Admission is free when you show your Collector's Meal cup. You can also reserve a spot for general admission or a poolside cabana through Eventbrite starting today.

Also on August 17, 2024, starting at 12 PM, McDonald's will be holding a promotion at Coney Island in New York. During the promotion, you can use your Collector's Meal cup to unlock a free ride on the Phoenix Roller Coaster, located in Deno's Wonder Wheel Amusement Park, while supplies last.
