Idahoan Releases New Tapatío Triple Cheese Mashed Potatoes

Potato product manufacturer Idahoan Foods teams up with Tapatio brand hot sauce to release new Idahoan Tapatío Triple Cheese Mashed Potatoes. Also new in stores are Idahoan Bacon Cheddar Potato Shreds.

Idahoan Tapatío Triple Cheese Mashed Potatoes come in a pack of four 1.5-oz cups and feature russet mashed potatoes with Tapatío and cheese. The brand cites the statistic that "82% of consumers [are] drawn to foods with hot and spicy flavors" as the reason behind the new product.

New Bacon Cheddar Potato Shreds come in a pack of two 1.7-oz cups and consist of shredded potatoes with a bacon and cheese flavor.

Both products are prepared by adding water and heating in the microwave oven. They're available in stores now and from the Idahoan online store.
