Gochujang-flavored Spam features a spicy, sweet, smoky, and umami taste inspired by the popular Korean condiment. Gochujang is a fermented spicy red chili paste.
Spam is also quite popular in Korean cuisine. It's a staple in several dishes including kimbap, kimchi fried rice, and budae jjigae ("army stew"). It's also prevalent as a gift during certain major holidays including the lunar new year and Chuseok (a mid-autumn harvest festival).
Hormel also recently introduced Korean BBQ-flavored Spam earlier this year exclusively at Walmart.
