Available for a limited time, Popeyes' Cajun-Style Turkey is 11 to 13 pounds on average and is rubbed and infused with the fried chicken chain's signature Louisiana-style seasonings for a "zesty, bold flavor." It's meant to serve 8 to 12 people.
You can purchase them online at thecajunfix.popeyes.com for $99.00 each. Most orders take one to three business days to arrive once shipped. The fully-cooked turkey arrives frozen and needs to be thawed and heated before serving.
This is the third year that Popeyes has sold pre-cooked turkeys online. As to the reason for the offering, the chain explains, "Not every Popeyes sells them. By putting the Cajun-Style Turkey online, more of our guests have the opportunity to order our Cajun-Style Turkeys."
Some Popeyes restaurants also carry the Cajun-Style Turkey (for $50 to $60 depending on location) so you may wish to check with your local Popeyes restaurant for availability.
For more information on how to prepare it and how it turns out, you can find my review of Popeyes Cajun Turkey here.
