A 15.5-oz box was $4.79.
The cookies were soft and pretty thick. They sported a nice pumpkin flavor, a mild sweetness, and a moderate amount of pumpkin pie spices.
The cinnamon cream cheese filling was like frosting with a light, pliable, and smooth texture. It did not have the paste-like filling of some sandwich cookies (but then again, these aren't meant to sit on the shelf for very long). Flavor-wise, it was very sweet and creamy with a touch of tanginess and a strong note of cinnamon. It was almost as thick as the cookies which was a bit too much for me.
Overall, Aldi's Bake Shop Pumpkin Sandwich Cookies had an enjoyable pumpkin spice flavor and a nice contrast of textures, but they were too sweet due to the filling. Eating one of the cookies with just a little bit of frosting was great though.
