I paid $3.29 for a small Frosty.
The name of the Frosty references Sponge Bob's home, which is a pineapple beneath the ocean.
While it was described as a puree, it felt more like a syrup in consistency. It was smooth, sticky, and watery. I tried to scoop some up from the bottom with a spoon but it proved to be rather elusive. The Frosty was a tad on the melty side.
In flavor, the puree tasted more like mango than pineapple and was sweet but not very tart. It went nice enough with the creamy Vanilla Frosty but was mild and lacked a strong fruit note.
Overall, Wendy's Pineapple Under the Sea Frosty was decent enough but wasn't all that pineapple-y. Like Wendy's other limited-time Frosty varieties, it had a very mellow flavor. I was hoping with the more concentrated puree floating around that this would be the one that broke the trend but it was not to be.
