Subway Introduces New Ghost Pepper Bread

Subway adds extra heat to its bread lineup with the introduction of new Ghost Pepper Bread.

Available for a limited time, Ghost Pepper Bread is the fast-food sandwich chain's spiciest bread yet and can be ordered as part of any sub. Additionally, Subway welcomes two new subs featuring the new bread: the Spicy Nacho Steak and the Fiery Meatball.

The Spicy Nacho Steak sub is a twist on the Spicy Nacho Chicken sub that launched this summer. It consists of sliced steak in creamy cheddar cheese sauce, topped with green peppers, red onion, spicy jalapenos, SubKrunch, and a drizzle of Creamy Sriracha, served on new Ghost Pepper Bread.

The Fiery Meatball sub features pepperoni, meatballs, pepper jack cheese, jalapenos, Creamy Sriracha sauce, pepper jack, and parmesan cheese on Ghost Pepper Bread.

The new Ghost Pepper Bread took over a year to develop and is made daily at each Subway location by coating the chain's Artisan Italian bread dough in ghost pepper, habanero, and paprika-seasoned panko breadcrumbs, topping it with Monterey cheddar cheese and jalapeno slices, and then baking.
