The Krabby Patty Kollab Burger is Wendy's version of a Krabby Patty from the television series (the Krabby Patty is the signature burger from Krusty Krab in SpongeBob SquarePants). Wendy's version features a quarter-pound beef patty, two slices of American cheese, lettuce, tomato, pickle, onion, and a "top-secret Krabby Kollab sauce" on a toasted premium bun (i.e. it's a Dave's Single but with new Krabby Kollab sauce instead of ketchup and mayo). For comparison's sake, a Krabby Patty from the series consists of a meatless patty, cheese, lettuce, tomatoes, onions, pickles, ketchup, mustard, and a secret ingredient (that's a running plot device for the show) on a bun. Perhaps playing on that theme, the Wendy's website's ingredient list for the Secret Krabby Patty Sauce only states: "CONTAINS: EGG." In contrast, the ingredients for the new puree of the Pineapple Under the Sea Frosty include "Sugar, Water, Banana Puree, Mango Puree Concentrate, Pineapple Juice Concentrate, Less than 1% of Natural Flavors, Citric Acid [Provides Tartness], Pectin, Xanthan Gum, Fruit and Vegetable Juice [for Color], Potassium Sorbate [to Protect Taste]."
The Pineapple Under the Sea Frosty is Wendy's latest limited-time Frosty flavor and features a Vanilla Frosty swirled with a Pineapple Mango-flavored puree. Unlike previous limited-time Frosties, it does not replace the Vanilla Frosty for the duration of its run as the puree and the Frosty are dispensed separately.
In addition to the two new fast-food menu items, there's also a Krabby Patty Kollab Meal, which includes a Krabby Patty Kollab Burger, fries, and a Pineapple Under the Sea Frosty.
Wendy's Krabby Patty Kollab menu is available now for a limited time at participating locations nationwide in the US, Canada, and Guam.
