There are three finalist burgers in all. They include:
- Fried Pickle Ranch Whopper (Created by Fabian of California) - A quarter-pound flame-grilled beef patty, pickle ranch, fried pickles, lettuce, bacon, and Swiss cheese, served on a toasted sesame seed bun.
- Maple Bourbon BBQ Whopper (Created by Calvin of California) - A quarter-pound flame-grilled beef patty, maple bourbon BBQ sauce, crispy onions, crispy jalapenos, maple bacon seasoning, bacon, and American cheese, served on a toasted sesame seed bun.
- Mexican Street Corn Whopper (Created by Kelsie of Nebraska) - A quarter-pound flame-grilled beef patty, street corn spread, Southwest seasoned tortilla crisps, Mexican spicy queso, lettuce, and tomato, served on a toasted sesame seed bun.
Prices vary but the Whopper finalists cost $8.99 each at my local Burger King here in Southern California, which is $1 more than a regular Whopper.
The Million Dollar Whopper contest started earlier this year and asked participants to submit their dream Whopper for a chance to win $1 million and see their creation sold in Burger King restaurants nationwide for a limited time.
New Pickle Fries are dill pickle spears that are battered and breaded in a seasoned coating and then deep-fried. They are served with Hidden Valley Ranch for dipping. Prices vary but they cost $3.99 near me in the Los Angeles area.
